September 12, 2011 Uhmm... for those who don't get this one (wich should be nearly everyone): It's a play of words wich hardly makes sense when translated and is also a reference to a little comic-series wich isn't available in english because I couldn't translate that either... :-/ - DS_Nadine
Sooo, any chance of a brief explanation of said pun?
Or even a convoluted one?
The same thing often happens with Japanese word-play too, but the jokes are still funny when explained.
At first, I suspected it was some form of German joke about the similarity of Mayonnaise and something else that is thick and white. A little bit of a crude joke, but amusing. Now I'm curious what the pun is or if I'm coming close to the mark.
In the storyline (wich wasn't translated) Nadine mishears 'Mario Party' (from the Mario games) for 'Mayo Party' and she wonders what that could be. So she supposes him and the girl in the red sweater are doing something with... uh... something that has an 'optical relationship' to mayo.
You can find it here, it's 4 comicstrips:

And that basically won't change, but...

If you always wanted to buy one of my comics but never did, the time would be now. (Here as well: Sry, german only. This is just a translation of my german blogpost, for wich some of you asked, I'm afraid.)
I donate all the money that comes in via my comics being sold this month to a refugee hostel. Simply put, this money goes to
buying art supplys. So I'm buying pens, crayons, paper etc with this money and go to a refugee hostel to draw with the kids.
Maybe this doesn't help a person in need directly but it can help bring some normality for the kids that escaped their
